American Legion HQ Scholarships

Besides our Post 1819 scholarships, American Legion Headquarters offers numerous scholarships. Worth noting is that that the Legacy Scholarship has been updated: 2022 application open for military children of the fallen, disabled. See more at the American Legion HQ’s Scholarship page.

American Flag Status

The website has been updated with the “American Flag Status” widget in the right sidebar that will automatically display the American Flag at half staff on the days that it is appropriate to fly the flag at half staff. Post #1819 will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday April 1, 2021 via tele/video conference only. Minutes from last month’s meeting, the agenda for this meeting, and call-in instruction will be found in the email that goes out to all Post members. *Monthly meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of every month.

2020 Spirit of Christmas Service Project

On December 5, 2020, Norwich University Post #1819 of the American Legion brought 50 “care packages” to the patients staying at the VA the U.S. Veterans Administration hospital in White River Junction, VT over the holidays.
