2022 Annual Meeting, Wall Display Unveiling & Norwich Homecoming

American Legion Post 1819 Annual Meeting and Events – Sept 16 & 17, 2022
NU Homecoming – September 15-18, 2022

This year’s Annual Meeting involves two significant events:

Post 1819 Wall Display Unveiling & Social Gathering
Friday September 16, 2022 at 5:15pm in Wise Campus Center 1st Floor (by the ATM)

After the traditional “Corps of Cadets Review with Retreat” event, we will then convene in the Wise Campus Center, 1st Floor, by the ATM for the unveiling of the new Post 1819 Wall Display. This unveiling is expected to kickoff at 5:15pm. There will be a short speech and then we will all retreat to the Gold Star Family Memorial under a tent for some refreshments. Our Post has officially become the caretakers of The Gold Star Family Memorial.

Post 1819 Annual Meeting & Raffle
Saturday September 17, 2022 at 11am in Plumley Armory (East end)

Our second and major event is the Post 1819 Annual Meeting which will take place in the East end of Plumley Armory at 11am till about noon. We will have our formal meeting, a guest speaker, our raffle/fundraiser, silent auction and refreshments. Also the new Dept of VT American Legion Commander will be present so everyone can meet him.
